Quarteira / 20€.
A traditional restaurant in the Algarve offers an excellent grill with a wide selection of fresh fish, quality meats, and dishes prepared with care and generosity.
The menu is quite rich and of high quality. I particularly recommend the Sopa de Peixe* (Fish Soup), which is very good, the Monkfish Rice, the Cuttlefish, and, if it’s in season, the Sardines, which were especially delicious when I visited.
The restaurant has an indoor dining area, but I suggest dining on the terrace. In winter, the terrace is protected from the cold by a cover.
The staff is very friendly and eager to please customers, which we appreciate since we sometimes request changes to the side dishes.

* Sopa de Peixe is a traditional Portuguese fish soup that embodies the country’s maritime culture. Popular during colder months, it uses fresh, seasonal fish in a flavorful broth with onions, garlic, tomatoes, and herbs like cilantro.
