This is an excellent restaurant for those who appreciate fish or seafood and aren’t too concerned about price on the day of their visit. Reservations are recommended, as it tends to be busy, and there’s often a wait.


It’s essential to point out that this restaurant is on the pricier side. However, the remarkable freshness of the fish, the refined culinary craftsmanship, and the impeccable service truly justify the cost, making it a worthwhile dining experience.


Like many restaurants centered on fresh, daily catches, your choice here will mostly depend on the day’s offerings and the chef’s recommendations. That said, I can confidently suggest starting with the Sopa de Marisco (Seafood Soup), a flavorful appetizer that sets the stage for the meal.

For main courses, the Grouper, Wreckfish, or Monkfish Rice (perfectly portioned for two) are exceptional choices that showcase the quality and skill this restaurant brings to seafood.


The menu is abundant in fish selections and equally generous with seafood options. While the meat selection is limited, it should satisfy any meat-lover who finds themselves here.


If you choose the Monkfish Rice, Razor Clam Rice or a similar dish, I suggest asking for the Mondega hot sauce offered here – it’s the best hot sauce I’ve ever tasted. This sauce is unique in that it enhances the aroma without overwhelming or masking the dish’s natural flavors.
